BESST Statement: 7 David Bellamy Gold Awards demonstrate our commitment to protecting the environment. Our visitors enjoy their stay on 37 acres filled with wild flowers and animals, living amongst foxes, badgers, crested newts and other species that are uncommon outside the Peak District. The shop sells local produce from White Peak Butchery, Peak Foods etc. The restaurant uses the same sources to make scrumptious meals served in rooms made cosy by wood-burning stoves fuelled from thinnings from our trees. We are developing new facilities for cyclists, walkers and horse riders and co-operating with local businesses to teach local skills, field sports and arts to clients who want to use their tent, motor home or caravan rather than stay in accommodation.
