Fresh Fish: We welcome everyone to our sales outlet and fresh-water fish business. We process fish caught in the lake Fyresvatn. Hot and cold-smoked fish. Fresh fish processed daily. Cured powan and trout. Powan caviar, spiced powan and traditional fishcakes. You can also experience the entire process from hauling fish up from the traps, to processing them at the fish processing centre. Or why not enjoy a delicious Aketun Fisk fish lunch while you are in Fyresdal.
Mountain Cabin: The A ketun family can also recommend their cottage in the mountain. Beautiful located at the lake Øyarvatn. No electricity, no water inside but a specular nature with lots of possibilities for walking and fishing.

Cabin rental in beautiful cultural surroundings with wonderful terrain for hiking and hunting.
Uppistog Lie: Cosy, old cabin on the Lie farm. This cabin is beautifully located at the edge of the forest and has an incredible view of the valley. Those, renting the cabin are free to make use of an old mountain hut called Berstøylen. Animals on the farm in spring and summertime.
Bergstøylen: Old lafted log house from the 1800, located approximately 700m above sea level. Beautiful hiking area offering both swimming and boating activities. The log House belong to the Cottage Uppistog Lie and is free to use when you rent the main cottage Uppistog. Rental all the year round. Hytteutleige i flott kulturlandskap med fine turmogleghetar. Utleige av småviltjakt.
Uppistog Lie: Koseleg, eldre hytte som ligg på garden Lie. Hytta ligg fint til i skogkanten med flott utsyn over dalen. Flott turterreng. Sengeplass til 5 personar, sofa i stoga. Stoge med kjøkkenkrok, innlagt varmt/kaldt vatn, elektrisk straum, kjøleskap, komfyr, vedomn/peis, dyner/puter, utedo.
Berstøylen: Til hytta høyrer ei gamal støylsbu, Berstøylen, som gjestene kan nytte gratis. Ganzjährige Hüttenvermietung in schöner Kulturlandschaft mit guten Wander- & Angelmöglichkeiten. Verleih von Niederwildjagd.
Uppistog Lie: Altes Almblockhäuschen aus dem 18. Jahrhundert, das 700 m.ü.M. liegt. Ca. 30-40 Min. Wanderweg im steilen Gelände. Ein Zimmer mit Kamin, Betten für 3 Personen, Gemütliche Essecke, Propangasbrenner, Bettdecken/Kissen, "Häuschen mit Herzen". Tolles Wandergebiet, mit Bade- und Angelmöglichkeiten. |

Kvipt Mountain Farm is situated in the well preserved cultural landscape of Birtedalen, in west Fyresdal. The farm dates from the 1600s and offers 45 beds in timber cabins. The terrain is great for hunting and fishing. They produce beautiful local handicrafts for sale and serve traditional food in the old buildings. They also host larger groups such as weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. Fjellgarden Kvipt ligg i godt bevart kulturlandskap og med særeigen natur i Fyresdal på grensa mot Setesdal. Eigedomen har 45 sengeplassar og eit stort variert jaktterreng der du kan få givande og varierte jakt- og fiskeopplevingar (rype, skogsfugl, rådyr, hare, osv). Der alte Berghof Kvipt liegt in einer für Fyresdal typischen Kulturlandschaft an der Grenze zum Setesdal. Der Hof aus dem 16. Jahrhundert hat 45 Betten. Gutes Jagd- und Angelgebiet (Schneehuhn, Hase, Rehwild, u.s.w.). |
